ABOUT
In 1991, our community suffered the tragic loss of three young lives. One of the youths, Kate Conlon, was a graduate of St. Raymond School and her family were longtime parishioners. Kate was a talented athlete who participated in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and intramural sports. A group of Kate’s friends and neighbors wanted to do something to remember her love of athletics, and thus the Annual Kate Conlon Christmas Tournament was created. In 2024, its 32nd year, the Kate Conlon Tournament will host multiple 8th grade girls teams over four days.

GOLD- 1st Place Immanuel Lutheran (Palatine), 2nd Place St. Joseph (Libertyville), 3rd Place St Raymond (Mt. Prospect)
SILVER - 1st Place St. James (Arlington Heights), 2nd Place Lincoln Middle (Mt. Prospect), 3rd Place St Peter Lutheran (Arlington Heights).
Bronze - 1st Place S.S. Cyril & Methodius (Lemont), 2nd Place St. Benedict (Chicago), 3rd Place Queen of the Rosary (Elk Grove Village)

2024 Tournament Dates
The 32nd Annual Kate Conlon 8th Grade Girls’ Christmas Basketball Tournament will be held Dec. 12-15. Games will be played at St. Raymond, Lincoln Middle School and St. Viator High School , with the championship games for the three brackets being held at St. Raymond on the final day of tournament action, Sunday, Dec. 15.

Sunday, Dec. 15
• Location: St. Raymond School – 1:00-8:00 PM
