A combined 8th grade boys volleyball team competed in the St Thomas of Villanova Tournament over last weekend.  It was a great tournament with lots of tough volleyball.  The Saints came out strong on Saturday and were the top seed in their pool after going 4-0 in their sets against Sts Peter and Paul and St Thomas.  Sunday the boys continued to play hard, but a very strong St Gilbert team narrowly won the match to earn a spot into the Championship match.  The Saints did go on to win their next match vs St Theresa, which ended them with a proud 3rd place tourney finish overall!!  Way to go Saints!!
