Join Us for Summer Running Club

IS YOUR CHILD A MULTISPORT ATHLETE? SOCCER, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, LACROSSE? HELP IMPROVE THEIR AGILITY, ENDURANCE AND SPEED!

ST RAYMOND 2019 SUMMER RUNNING GROUP- ALL CURRENT 4th-7th GRADERS!! (next year’s 5th-8th Graders)

Come join us!!

We will be offering the Summer Running Group to all 5th-8th students again!  Kids will benefit in SO many ways:

-Gain increased endurance and speed for their XC season and/or other sport

-Increase core strength and agility for ALL sports they participate in

-Have fun with their friends over the summer

-Start their day off in a fun, healthy way

Our group will meet every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday morning for one hour work-outs consisting of varied run work-outs, stretching drills, core strength exercises, and FUN!  Proper running technique and form will be taught and stressed!!

We will start on Wednesday July 10th… We will meet 12 times until we transition directly into the XC season, which will start officially practicing on Wednesday, August 7th.  

No need to worry if vacations and/or other clubs are scheduled for some of the days….we are very flexible and kids are welcome and encouraged to come to any of the dates that they can!!  

All Practice times will be 8:30 am- 9:30 am

Parent helpers (and alumni Saints runners) are greatly appreciated so we can train the kids at various appropriate levels of ability, so please let me know if you have days you would like to help with the kids!  

To do Summer Running Club- I need the registration form, your child’s sports physical, concussion awareness, and archdioscese release filled out (same forms as for all other sports at St Raymonds) Once you have them done for Running Club- they will be good for all other sports of the year!

Please try to get all paperwork in before end of school.  Any questions, please let me know!!! Can’t wait to work with the kids again!!
