The 7th Grade AA boys team participated in "A Soldier's Journey Home" tournament last weekend at St. Alphonsus.

All proceeds from the tourney are being donated to build a home for U.S. Marine Sgt Eric Morante, who lost his right leg above the knee and shattered his wrist when a suicide bomber drove a truck full of explosives into an area Eric was protecting.

After a tough one-point loss to St. Emily on Friday, the boys came back to beat St. Gilbert and St. Collette and claim the consolation Championship.  The boys learned a lot about the sacrifices made by our soldiers and were very respectful, enthusiastic and excited to support this cause.  Congrats to all of them!
