Jeans Day — $1 to be Out of Uniform

Please join our 5th-8th grade girls’ volleyball teams on Thursday, October 18th as they support breast cancer awareness month and the fight against breast cancer.  Our teams will be hosting Volley for the Cure to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  

Following are the volleyball matches scheduled in the Parish Life Center/Gym on Thursday, October 18.  Be sure to come out to watch a match or two and participate in the event raffles, special concessions, and more!  

4:00pm

5th Grade St. Raymond Scrimmage

4:30pm

6th St Raymond Scrimmage

5:00pm

7th-2 St. Raymond vs. St. Catherine/Glenview

5:45pm

7th-1 St. Raymond vs. OLPH/Glenview

6:30pm

8AA St. Raymond vs. St. Joseph/Downers Grove

7:15pm

8A-1 St. Raymond vs. 8-1 Parkview/Morton Grove

8:00pm

8A-2 St. Raymond vs. 8-2 Parkview/Morton Grove

 

To kick-off this important event, there will be a Jeans Day at school.  Students can wear their Volley for the Cure t-shirt to school Thursday, October 18 and pay $1 to be out of uniform.  If students participate in Jeans Day, they can wear the following:

  • Volley for the Cure St. Raymond’s Pink shirt, SRS Spiritwear, any shirt that says “St. Raymond”/”Saints”, or SRS uniform gym shirt. If a student does not have SRS Spritwear, they may wear a solid-colored t-shirt in SRS colors (red, black, or white).

  • Jeans, dark leggings or stretch pants with a long shirt, SRS uniform gym sweatpants or shorts, SRS Spiritwear pants

All proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
