In 1991, our community suffered the tragic loss of three young lives.  One of the youths, Kate Conlon, was a graduate of St. Raymond School and her family were longtime parishioners.  Kate was a talented athlete who participated in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and intramural sports.  A group of Kate’s friends and neighbors wanted to do something to remember her love of athletics, and thus the Annual Kate Conlon Christmas Tournament was created.

Joey Sykes Tournament - Jan. 2026

21st Annual Joey Sykes Tournament

Participants: 8th Grade Boys Basketball Teams

Thursday, January 8th - Sunday, January 11th

The St. Raymond Athletic Association is hosting the Joey Sykes Tournament that will feature a 3-point shooting contest, a raffle, and hours and hours of great competition and fun with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation in honor of Joey Sykes.
